Context and Discovery
Found in 1982 under the floor of the old St. Hans Church. This stele was re-used twice, first as a runestone, dating around 1000 CE, afterwards it was cut in three rectangular parts and was built into a medieval grave. HS

Measurements, Material and Condition
Former A-stone re-used as runestone, cut in three rectangular parts. Surface and sides worked very evenly and smoothly. Smaller sides at top and bottom rather broken than cut off straight. Top cut off straight, damaging the top ornament. Part one (upper right in photo) measurements: 0.70 x 0.23 x 0.15 m. Part two (left one in photo) measurements: 0.95 x 0.31 x 0.15 m. Part three (lower right in photo) measurements: 1.13 x 0.31 x 0.15 m. The total width given here, 62 cm, must have been a bit wider originally, as the reconstruction suggests that there is a gap in between the fragmented pieces. HS
